Sr Channel Marketing Specialist- OPBG

<p><strong>DESCRIPTION</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Manager of Channel Marketing, the Senior Channel Marketing Specialist for the Open Platform Business Group drives impactful marketing programs to increase ASUS’ market share in Canada. The Senior Channel Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple retail channels. The Channel Marketing Specialist will work closely with sales, product management, channel partners, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness, revenue and increase market share for the company; drive, grow and expand B2C sales through programs, MDF activities, joint promotions, trainings/events, and other opportunities.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Responsibilities</u></p><p><br></p><p>The responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Develop and execute integrated 360° channel marketing strategies that align with ASUS brand objectives and drive consumer engagement, sales, and awareness.</li><li>Manage and execute the cross-functional implementation of the channel marketing plan</li><li>Work closely with the creative team to develop compelling visual merchandising displays, signage, and POS materials that align with ASUS brand guidelines.</li><li>Train and educate retail store staff on new products, promotions, and marketing initiatives.</li><li>Oversee in-store channel marketing execution and optimization, including merchandiser management and quality control.</li><li>Liaise with ASUS team members and various business partners to ensure ASUS creative assets are compliant with partner funding requirements.</li><li>Conduct periodic reviews of the budget plan, adjusting and revisions as needed to align with changing business priorities and market conditions.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate the performance of in-store marketing campaigns, promotions, and visual merchandising efforts.</li><li>Manage MDF (Marketing Development Fund) budgets, ensuring effective fund utilization and ROI tracking.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p><u>Required Skills & Abilities</u></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of brand marketing strategy and 360-degree marketing execution.</li><li>Collaborative team player with the ability to build effective business partnerships across internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Knowledge of retail merchandising, in-store display design, and online retail marketing integration.</li><li>Understanding of retail channels, the technology ecosystem, and working knowledge of the fundamentals of technology preferred</li><li>Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.</li><li>Positive, proactive, and results-oriented attitude with a passion for innovation and learning.</li><li>Fluent in English</li></ul><p><u> </u></p><p><u>Required Experience</u></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in a related field</li><li>5-7 years of marketing experience working in a fast-paced marketing environment, preferably in the PC DIY / gaming industry or agency experience.</li><li>Proven experience in retail marketing, preferably in a similar in-store channel marketing role.</li><li>Flexibility to travel to retail locations as needed.</li><li>Experience in consumer electronics or PC industry is a plus</li><li>Ability to work independently and set priorities while being a team player</li><li>Experience managing marketing budgets, MDF programs, and campaign ROI reporting</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Note; <strong>Please include case studies or examples of campaigns/projects that best demonstrate your experience along with your application.</strong></p>
