This role involves strategic leadership and direct management of a team with members in North America, Europe, and Asia. The primary goal of this role is to drive the product line’s vision, strategy and commercial success. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in power and natural gas markets in North America and Europe and will be responsible for overseeing the product lines growth and profitability, research and development, and roadmap, while staying abreast of market trends and competitive dynamics.</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage a team of product managers and related staff ensuring development, mentoring and coaching of team members.</li> <li>Encourage a culture of customer focused collaboration and innovation.</li> <li>Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategic plan for the Insights products.</li> <li>Clearly define measurable goals for the products and measure performance against those goals.</li> <li>Manage Development Backlog</li> <li>Build and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap defined by market demand, company strategy and competitor analysis.</li> <li>Communicate that roadmap both internally and externally.</li> <li>Monitor and analyze customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape.</li> <li>Use industry trends and customer feedback to inform product strategy.</li> <li>Work closely with sales and marketing to define go-to-market strategy.</li> <li>Collaborate with customer success to ensure customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Monitor and measure product and feature adoption including onboarding, time to value, and NPS.</li> <li>Drive growth and revenue generation strategies and work closely with sales to execute.</li> <li>Monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Candidate Requirements & Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>10 years in the energy industry</li> <li>5 years in a leadership role</li> <li>5 years of product management</li> <li>High level of numeracy, computer and web literacy</li> <li>High level of experience with use of PowerPoint, Excel & Word</li> <li>Experience with power systems software or software as a service/solution</li> <li>Knowledge of technical software for data analysis, consulting and project experience</li> <li>Energy industry product management</li> <li>Extensive experience with power and natural gas markets in North America, Europe, and Asia</li> <li>Strong interpersonal presence and skills - demonstrated ability to build rapport</li> <li>Proficient with corporate productivity and presentation tools such as MS Office</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li> <li>Strong listening and presentation skills</li> <li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively</li> <li>Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a focus on quality</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple competing priorities</li> <li>Sense of urgency for goal achievement</li> <li>Strong desire for personal and career advancement</li> <li>Strong product management skills including discovery/research and adoption analysis</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Energy Exemplar is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
