In this role, you will have the ability to tackle a wide range of technical challenges and make a big impact on some of the most critical aspects of our business.</p><p><strong>This role collaborates closely with our Vancouver team. We believe diversity makes us stronger and more innovative.</p> <br><h3>The Role</h3> null <br><h3>Responsibilities</h3> null <br><h3>Requirements</h3> <ul><li>5+ years professionally building web applications</li><li>Experience with at least one of PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, C/C++ or C#</li><li>Javascript experience - ES6, Webpack, Angular, React JS, React Native</li><li>A solid understanding of relational databases and SQL</li><li>A solid understanding of computer science concepts, e.g.: data structures, design patterns, and algorithms</li><li>You understand the importance of writing testable and maintainable code</li><li>A track record of building and maintaining highly scalable products</li><li>You are curious and innovative, consistently staying abreast of the latest technology and challenging the status quo</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Bonus Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>PHP experience using Laravel or any other MVC framework</li><li>Knowledge of payroll in Canada and/or the USA</li><li>Experience integrating with AI APIs (AWS Bedrock) including using MCPs and implementing safeguards (e.g., AWS Guardrails)</li><li>Experience working on internal tools involving various teams within an organization</li><li>Experience working on a DevOps or Platform team stitching together various technologies, services, APIs, and/or languages to achieve a goal</li><li>Experience building RAG-powered features</li><li>Experience with multi-agent frameworks (e.g., CrewAI)</li><li>Previous startup experience</li><li>You are super smart and have earned a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience</li></ul>
