 We are searching for a Member Services Representative to join our team! As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience!

Skills Required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests, always providing exceptional customer service.
  • Answer phones courteously and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members in and provide club tours to prospective members.
  • Communicate updates and events to members and guests.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point-of-sale system.
  • Utilize POS system to assist with new memberships and existing membership questions.
  • Go above and beyond to keep the front desk area and lobby clean and orderly.
  • Regular cleaning and upkeep of the facility, including exercise equipment, amenities, windows, mirrors, trash removal, and re-racking weights.
  • Support team operations by adapting to new policies, procedures, and systems, and completing required company training as assigned.
  • Frequent restroom/locker room cleaning and stocking.
  • Complete company assigned trainings and additional learning as directed.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Frequent walking throughout the facility.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Reaching, bending, and kneeling as needed for cleaning and stocking tasks.
  • Ability to work in a busy, noisy fitness environment.
  • Will occasionally use or be around standard cleaning products; appropriate safety procedures and protective equipment are provided.
