With a focus on project management and cross-market communication, this function connects local initiatives to global campaign priorities and resources. They are thought partners who ensure strategic alignment and serve as advocates for countries in regional and global forums. With full visibility across the slate, the Marketing Planning team plays a pivotal role in facilitating title import and export workflows, enabling speed, decision-making, and creativity while ensuring all titles and initiatives are on strategy. The Marketing Planner does not lead creative campaigns or executions. This role is designed to enable the successful execution of campaigns and ensure that local market opportunities are fully realized within the context of Netflix’s broader strategic objectives.<br><br><strong>The Opportunity<br><br></strong>The Marketing Planning Manager will operate in a dual capacity, with distinct but interconnected focuses:<br><br><strong><strong>Regional Marketing Planner (LATAM)<br><br></strong></strong>In this capacity, the Marketing Planning Manager serves as a strategic connector between the LATAM and Global teams, leading the import of campaigns into LATAM. This includes ensuring that global Marketing teams have strong local input from our region throughout the lifecycle of a campaign to facilitate the title’s export process and guarantee that strategies developed globally are informed, coherent, and executable in LATAM. The planner is also a key strategic advisor to the LATAM team during local campaign development, ensuring the title’s global strategic objectives are met in local executions.<br><br><strong><strong>SOLA Planner (Argentina & Chile)<br><br></strong></strong>In this capacity, the Marketing Planning Manager is a key partner for SOLA, acting as a planner deeply invested in the specific needs, priorities, and opportunities of Argentina and Chile. This includes orchestrating the export of titles and initiatives from SOLA to the wider region and global teams, facilitating smooth integration with supporting global partners. Through strategic counsel, proactive knowledge‑sharing, and close partnership with local stakeholders, this individual ensures that the SOLA perspective is consistently championed, that high‑potential local titles and projects are identified and scaled, and that SOLA’s business goals are fully represented within the global organization.<br><br>This is a permanent FTE role reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, LATAM Marketing Planning. The position will be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Title Import & Global Campaign Lead (LATAM)<br><br><ul><li>Contribute to the strategic development and regional campaign management of series, film, and LIVE campaigns from upstream development through rollout, ensuring resonance and impact across LATAM.</li><li>Drive early strategy and creative alignment with the US and Global teams for campaigns that will be supported in the region. </li><li>Lead global campaigns to success by maximizing their impact in LATAM via the local Country Marketing teams.</li><li>Reduce friction points by proactively solving around campaigns, processes, or workflows with stakeholders.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Strategic Market Planning & Prioritization Partner (SOLA – Argentina & Chile)<br><br></strong><ul><li>Partner with SOLA Marketing teams to identify and prioritize global and local titles to support, socializing title‑specific details to equip teams for decision‑making and budget allocation.</li><li>Serve as a key point of contact on the global slate context as teams plan local initiatives.</li><li>Build and nurture strong relationships with key internal Marketing partners, advocating for the country's needs and perspectives.</li><li>Represent the SOLA and LATAM markets in global forums, ensuring the region’s voice is heard in strategic discussions and planning.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Title Export Lead (SOLA – Argentina & Chile)<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate the export of local titles from SOLA markets, ensuring alignment with global teams and strategy.</li><li>Communicate regular updates on title performance, campaign milestones, and key developments to all relevant stakeholders, maintaining transparency and alignment throughout the export process.</li><li>Serve as the primary global point of contact for SOLA titles, facilitating feedback, resolving challenges, and ensuring all teams are equipped with the information needed for successful launches outside the home territory.<br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Candidate Profile<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Brings at least 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, marketing strategy, or business partnership roles, preferably within an entertainment company. Experience in advertising agencies or brand-side roles is a plus.</li><li>Has proven experience working across SOLA (Spanish-speaking Latin America), broader LATAM, and international markets.</li><li>Adept at building trusted partnerships across functions and geographies, with a track record of influencing stakeholders and aligning teams around shared objectives. Experienced in navigating matrixed organizations and managing relationships at all levels, including senior leadership.</li><li>Deep understanding of the creative campaign lifecycle, from strategy and planning through execution and performance analysis. </li><li>Proactively identifies opportunities to optimize workflows, processes, and tools to drive efficiency and scalability. Brings a solutions-oriented mindset and is comfortable implementing innovative approaches to complex challenges.</li><li>Confident communicator with strong presentation skills, able to distill and share insights, business updates, and strategic recommendations with clarity and impact. Comfortable facilitating discussions and representing the region in global forums.</li><li>Possesses a global mindset and experience working with diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
