We are committed to ensuring fairness and inclusivity by relying on the expertise from a team of professional recruiters for the application reviews, interviews, and qualification assessments<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>Typical responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Establish and monitor contract budgets and schedules, including rates and price </li><li> Supervise and coordinate the work of multiple contractors on site with respect to safety, quality of work, and adherence to applicable codes, standards, design documents and site standards </li><li> Ensure that Wood Canada Limited and the Project’s health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) programs are implemented and adhered to at all times </li><li> Proactively work with contractors to ensure project safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives are being achieved </li><li> Monitor schedule and quantities of work completed, identifying mitigation strategies where required </li><li> Participate in the turnover process by assembling completion checklists and other construction records </li><li> Assist with any clarification, interpretation, interference resolution and QA/QC related matters </li><li> Coordinate with Wood engineering to ensure timely resolutions of any Requests for Information </li><li> Assist in the review and resolution of QA/QC non-conformance reports (NCRs) </li><li> Ensure site - instructions, drawings and specifications for scope changes with contractors are issued/communicated in a timely manner </li><li> Develop and maintain communication channels with client, stake holders, contractors and internal Wood personnel to ensure that work flows smoothly and is delivered to the Project’s expectations </li><li> Monitor daily construction activities with respect to performance, procedure, quality and provide the Construction Manager with detailed, timely daily reports of all such activities and equipment utilized for these activities </li><li> Submit weekly progress reports outlining items of concern such as progress delays, safety observations, non-conformance with specifications/ drawings, equipment, weather delays, congestion, workmanship, quality control and potential scope changes or contractual impacts <br><br></li></ul>Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the Canada without sponsorship from Wood, now or in the future.<br><br><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>What makes you remarkable? <br><br></strong>At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team.
