Channel Sales Manager – Life Sciences

<p>We are looking for a motivated Channel Sales Manager based in South Africa whose primary aim will be to sell the Bio-Rad LSG product line to meet territory sales goals across distributors for an assigned territory/region (Sub Sahara region).</p> <p><strong>How You will make an impact:</strong></p> <p>Responsible for managing Bio Rad Life Science Group (LSG) Product Portfolio business through indirect and direct sales channels in Sub Sahara Region with growth mindset.<br /> Manages a team of two Field Application Specialists to provide excellent level of support to our Channel Partners &amp; customers in using our technologies. Guides and coaches our Channel partner Teams as an extended sales force to our organization to grow Bio Rad LSG Business in Sub Sahara.<br /> Responsible for optimizing our sales channels by identifying new partners including NGOs to increase our coverage in the region and helping the existing ones to improve their skills to promote and support Bio Rad solutions to ensure great customer experience in each account.<br /> Establishes professional relationships with Channel Partners to promote confidence and goodwill, discusses and overcomes challenges, generates Channel Partners’ interest in obtaining more sales business for the company.<br /> Coordinates relations with Channel Partners and internal stakeholders to support activities from order management to collections, service arrangements, sales, and marketing actions.<br /> Formulates sales strategy for Bio Rad Life Science Business in Sub Sahara, develop sales forecast, budget planning; supervises and trains Channel Partners to achieve sales targets and long-term business goals in alignment with Bio Rad’s mission and vision.<br /> Pursues key prospects, negotiates, and constructs appropriate terms of sales with hunting mentality to grow Bio Rad LSG Business in Sub Sahara. Actively involves in projects along with our Channel Partners and builds direct relations with the end users to verify market requirements for future tactical planning &amp; actions.<br /> Access to a hybrid workplace model mixes in-office and remote work to offer flexibility and support to employees.<br /> Reports to Senior Channel Sales Manager based in UAE</p> <p><strong>What You’ll bring:</strong></p> <p>Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a life science or related field.<br /> Languages: Fluent in English, French is a plus<br /> 10 years of sales experience selling products in the life science marketplace or an equivalent combination of education and experience in African markets<br /> Commercial knowledge of life science technologies in proteomics and genomics<br /> Being results driven and thrive on exceeding targets<br /> Excellent written and verbal communications skills including presentations<br /> Ability to produce results while working with multiple projects under tight deadlines in a matrix organization<br /> Fluency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP programs to utilize internal tools like sfdc, SAP reports efficiently in managing day-to-day business tasks</p> <p>Please note that the position is based in South Africa and requires extensive travel – including overnights.</p> <p>Who We Are: For 70 years, Bio-Rad has focused on advancing the discovery process and transforming the fields of science and healthcare.
